In collaboration with The Atlantic Film Festival and the Nova Scotia Department of Education, this day of activities for students from around the Province takes place at Horton High School.
Earlier in 2011, students from around the province were asked to particpate in a project that explores childhood obesity and eating habits through Social media (like Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, Myspace, etc)
The best of these compilations have been adjudicated by Robert Kenner, Director of the acclaimed film FOOD, INC. and will be screened with interactive panel discussions on the Youth Day. The Atlantic Film Festival’s Viewfinders program will also continue around the Province screening the Youth Day winning films to other schools through the auspices of their Festival in a Van.
